6月2日是國人將擁抱智能車的重要日子，因為Mercedes-Benz The new E-Class就將正式導入！這輛豪華中大型房車將搭載最新車輛進階智能科技讓全新改款E-Class變身進化成一輛Most intelligent business saloon。

除了更顯豪華，這次The new E-Class對車壇最大貢獻是搭載了新世代汽車安全科技，勢將大大提升無論駕車者抑或行人的全面安全，難怪這上市在全球上市後佳評如潮，有媒體甚至尊稱它是輛智能鉅作（Masterpiece of intelligence）！

做為汽車的發明者，Mercedes-Benz從1969成立車輛事故安全研究部門開始，即陸續研發出緊縮安全帶、ABS防鎖死煞車系統、SRS氣囊、ESP電子車身操控系統及PRE-SAFE主動安全防護系統等，每項發明都為車壇有關安全科技樹立新的里程碑，這次隨著全新改款E-Class問世，原廠繼Mercedes-Maybach S-Class後，非但再次導入Intelligent Drive智慧駕駛輔助系統，同時更特增全新開發之DRIVE PILOT智能駕駛輔助（包含DISTRONIC智能定速測距輔助與智能轉向輔助）、車道輔助套件、閃避轉向輔助、PRE-SAFE主動側撞防護以及多光束LED智慧型頭燈等多項先進科技，這些科技有的以前也有，但經過賓士技師不斷進階研發，變得更為靈敏且精確，真的做到防患於未然。值得一提的是，比起2014發表的LED智慧頭燈，新的燈組LED晶片模組從24個增加到84個，並透過擋風玻璃攝影機傳送訊息以每秒做100次高速計算，讓多光束LED智慧頭燈時刻都保有最佳照明效果，全天候開啟遠光燈也無須擔心干擾他人視線，這厲害吧！

很多車廠都在描繪零事故願景，The new E-Class以其諸多先進安全科技真正跨進了一大步，要說這輛智慧豪華中大型房車成功扮演了跨世代汽車安全科技推手，一點都不為過。
